If you’re unsure about which version of the Jamstik you have, start by counting the number of frets.
If there are 7 frets, you have the Jamstik 7.
If there are 5 frets on your Jamstik, look at the faceplate to determine if you have the Jamstik+ or original Jamstik (see images below). Does the Jamstik logo on the faceplate show a “+” after the logo? If so, you have a 2nd generation Jamstik+ (Bluetooth version). If you do not see a plus on the faceplate logo, you have a 1st generation Jamstik (WIFI version).
If there is a plus sign (+) after the jamstik logo on the faceplate,
you have a 2nd generation jamstik+ that connects only via Bluetooth.

If there is no plus sign (+) after the jamstik logo on the faceplate,
you have a 1st generation jamstik that connects only via WIFI.
Don’t both versions of the Jamstik connect via WIFI and Bluetooth?
No. The 1st generation Jamstik (WIFI) only connects to devices via WIFI or USB. The 2nd generation Jamstik+, and third generation Jamstik 7 (Bluetooth) only connect to devices via Bluetooth 4.0 or USB.
