Wifi connection dropouts & latency

If your jamstik is experiencing spotty wifi connectivity and you are unable to retain a consistent connection, follow these steps to get a clean connection. These steps can also help reduce latency.

  1. Power off and on your mobile device.
  2. Turn on airplane mode on your iPad or iPhone. 
  3. Turn on the jamstik and wait for the orange yellow pulse of the LED. 
  4. Turn on wifi on the ipad with airplane mode still enabled and connect as normal to the jamstik.

You can also try adjusting your WiFi channel in the, "advanced settings" menu in Jamstik Connect.  Each time you change your WiFi Channel, you will have to restart your jamstik for the settings to take effect.
